Peter Knights, our Principal here at Knights Norfolk, has been working with customers across the Wimmera Mallee since 1994. As well as operating the family farm at Gre Gre with parents Bill & Marilyn and wife Natalie, Peter’s expertise lies in providing strategic business solutions and accounting services to the agricultural industry and other industry sectors in the region.
As well as managing a farm and Knights Norfolk, Natalie also owns the local gym St Arnaud Health & Fitness. Her focus within accounting is to use technology to its fullest to streamline her businesses as well as those of her clients – making the accounting process as simple as possible so we can focus on the important things facing our clients not just the mundane! Health & wellness are very important to Natalie which is where she splits her time between being a bean counter and a gym junkie!
The fossil of the firm - started off accounting with both computerised and manual systems in 1990 and has been part of the massive changes to the way accounting works for small to medium sized business since then. Was working on the family farm since school age and have persisted through various challenges with the goals to combine the careers of farming and accounting whilst maintaining a genuine contribution to family and community. A solid family base and the support of good mentors, great team and key connections within both CPA Australia and other professions, has evolved our businesses to here with a spring in the step to deal with whatever changes or challenges are thrown at us or our clients.
Coming from a farming background, Naomi has a strong understanding of the agricultural sector and the businesses that are integral to the local community. She maintains a hands on approach to understanding key Farming software programs such as Figured and Agriwebb in addition to the firms use of Xero to equip her to give practical advice to her clients. She is passionate about her local community and is involved in volunteer roles ranging from the CFA to the local Community Bank.
Be it anything Xero related, managing compliance obligations or keeping our Accountants on track, Jascinta is the office all-rounder. She is able to assist with Xero file set up and training, and manages much of the red tape for both our clients and our office, ensuring you don’t face any unnecessary headaches with the various governing bodies in running your business.
With a background in design, Bridgette comes to the firm with a wealth of experience in all things marketing and social media. Her previous role as Marketing Manager for a large online fashion retail business makes Bridgette the perfect resource if your business is looking to join the online sales and marketing world!
The face behind the front desk and the helpful voice on the phone- Persia has joined the team with a background in customer support services and is an asset with all things admin!
